1 injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was injured in a shooting in Greensboro early Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Curry Street just before 2 a.m. in reference to a shots fired call.

There, officers found an unidentified victim suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a release.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on the victim’s condition.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000 or text a tip to 274637 using the keyword badboyz. All calls to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous, and may result in a reward up to $2,000.
