GRAHAM, N.C. -- A teacher at B. Everett Jordan Elementary School in Alamance County is using several innovative techniques to keep her second-grade students focused in class.
In Kimberly Zangotsis' classroom, students sit on yoga balls. She says the ball helps to keep students focused while they exert more energy to stay on the ball.
"I did a lot of research over the summer and they say that yoga balls get their blood flowing and they have to use a lot of energy to stay on the yoga ball," Zangotsis said.
