Super Bowl Champion and North Carolina native Vinson Smith stopped by the FOX8 studios Friday!
Smith is a retired NFL linebacker whose career spanned 13 years.
He played for the Dallas Cowboys when they won Super Bowl XXVII. Smith played for other NFL teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears.
Smith sat down with Julie Grant to talk about his experience in the World Championship game, whether the NFL is doing enough to ensure player safety and who he thinks will win Super Bowl 50. Hint: He is friends with Carolina Panthers’ Coach Ron Rivera.
