A diagnosis of feline kidney disease has, until recently, been a death sentence because there is no cure. 

It affects about one-third of older cats.

Dr. Douglas Hepler, his team at Piedmont Animal Health and researchers at Wake Forest Integrative and Regenerative Medicine hope to accomplish something that was previously thought to be impossible: stop the progress of kidney disease.
