Most movie theaters offer discount daytime movies during the week once school gets out.
They are all popular family films that have been released in the last few years.
Ticket prices are just a dollar for most shows.
Some are $3 or $4 but that includes popcorn and a drink.

Free bowling
How about taking your kids bowling for free?
Kids get two free games of bowling this summer at select facilities.
It's part of the kids bowl free program.
Bowling centers in Greensboro, Salisbury, and High Point all participate.
Just go on the website, register your children, and print your tickets.
Free books
Keep you kids learning this summer by having them earn a free book.
Barnes and Noble will give every child a free book as part of their summer reading program.
Children can choose from a list separated by grade level.
Again, just go online, register, fill out the reading journal and take it to a store.
Free game tokens
Once they read those books kids can receive 10 free tickets from Chuck E Cheese.
Two weeks worth of reading and you win. Just take the chart into any restaurant.
