FDA may approve new Alzheimer’s drug

In less than a week, the FDA may approve a new drug for mild cognitive impairments or early stage dementia caused by Alzheimer’s disease.

It would be the first treatment ever sold that could slow down the deterioration in brain function caused by the disease.

FOX8 is joined by Karen Owens, MSW, LCSW, with the Alzheimer’s Association, on today’s house calls.
