If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to be a law enforcement officer, now is your chance. The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is letting local citizens take classes and train to be an ‘honorary deputy.’
The next academy begins August 30th and runs through December 11th. Classes are every Thursday night from 6:30pm-9:45pm inside the Otto Zenke building at 400 West Washington Street in Greensboro. If you’d like to sign-up, you need to do so by August 28th. To do that, you can call 641-3378 or 641-5313.
