GREENSBORO, N.C. — A bad ankle sprain has sidelined Northwest Guilford Middle School student-athlete Hallie Atkins for now, but she’s optimistic and looking forward.

Getting around can be a challenge, but she’s taking the task head-on with skills learned on the hardwood.

“When we lose a game, it doesn’t just feel like we lost,” she said. “All of the team is happy and we just cheer on each other.”

She says, when you run into challenges, keep on going.
