GREENSBORO, N.C. -- One Aycock Middle School eighth grader is using his talents to shine in and out of the classroom.

Noah Lea knows practice counts in music class and in sports.

He does it all, from football to wrestling, but still considers himself a student first.

Lea's passion for science took him to the regional science competition and earned him third place for the third year in a row.

The 13-year-old said he works hard because you never know who's watching.

Lea said he wants to follow in his mother's footsteps and become a chemical engineer.
