CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WGHP) — Francisco De La Riva Delgado, of Charlotte, bought a scratch-off and won $100,000, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.

Delgado bought his winning $20 ticket from the Food Lion on South Tryon Street in Charlotte.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to collect his prize.

After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $71,256.
