Nancy Lublin created Dress For Success at 23 years old with a $5,000 inheritance from her great-grandfather.
"I didn't feel I had earned that money. I felt like I was compelled to do something good with it," she said.
Dress For Success has helped over 700,000 women worldwide get jobs with career coaching and by giving them clothes to interview in.
Nancy now heads up DoSomething.org, one of the largest youth organizations in the world with more than 2.5 million members.
She's in town as part of Wake Forest University's Leadership Project to share her experiences about being an entrepreneur. "Women have been doing startups since the beginning of time. What's a family? We are makers at our core physically. We make human beings."
Nancy says if you have are passionate about something and can't sleep for thinking about it, to not write a business plan, just go make it happen.
"Start making that amazing pesto sauce, create that app, start making it. Find someone who loves it like you do. Just move forward. If you fail, get back up," she said.
