
Natasha Laguerre is a News Reporter for FOX8 WGHP, based in High Point, North Carolina.

Natasha Laguerre joined the FOX8 news team in May of 2023.
She grew up in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in broadcast journalism.
Before joining FOX8, Natasha worked at WMBF News as a multimedia journalist for two years and was the anchor for the Spanish newscast Telemundo Myrtle Beach.
During her time at WMBF, Laguerre covered the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, the Chinese spy balloon, and the arrest of Doc Antle of “Tiger King” fame, and she interviewed former South Carolina Supreme Court Justice Kaye Hearn one-on-one.
On top of the big stories Natasha covered in Myrtle Beach, she released her first mini-documentary, shedding light on Puerto Rican families’ struggle on the island.
Natasha is an award-winning journalist. In 2022, she received the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas‘ first-place award for sports reporting. She also shared first-place awards for health/medicine reporting and series reporting and a second-place award for consumer/economic reporting.
Natasha worked for WRAL News in Raleigh as a news production assistant which allowed her to jump-start her career in journalism.
She expanded her journalism experience with Television Academy, ACC Network and Radio One.
She hopes to shed light to any situation in the Triad and the Latino/Hispanic community.
