FOX8 WGHP’s Natalie Wilson anchors the evening news and hosts “Good For Her!,” a series that highlights the women who are making waves in the Piedmont Triad and North Carolina.

Natalie Wilson joined the FOX8 team in April of 2014.

Raised in Athens, Georgia, Natalie is enjoying the southern hospitality of North Carolina.

Natalie anchors the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. newscasts weekdays and is the reporter and producer of “Good for Her!,” a series that highlights the women who are making waves in the Piedmont Triad.

She has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Howard University and a master’s in communication from Johns Hopkins University.

Natalie’s more than 15 years of journalism experience have included covering news in Washington, D.C.; Prince George’s County, Maryland; Charlottesville, Virginia; and North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad.

Natalie’s work has been recognized by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Nashville/Midsouth Chapter.

In 2019, Black Business Ink named Natalie one of the 40 Under 40 Most Influential African Americans in the Triad.

She has also been featured in the Greensboro History Museum’s “Women in Media” podcast series.

When Natalie’s not working on news assignments, you will most likely find her at a bowling alley. She grew up participating in leagues and tournaments and has become active within the Triad bowling community.

Natalie bowled her first 300 game (the maximum score possible by bowling 12 strikes in a row) here in the Triad.
