Floriana Boardman joined the FOX8 team in October 2023. As a North Carolina native, she is excited to call the Triad her new home.
Before joining FOX8, Floriana spent two years at WCIV ABC News 4 in Charleston, South Carolina. There she covered everything from the Alex Murdaugh trial to Hurricane Ian and Idalia. During her time in the Lowcountry, she was known for her reporting on leaked recordings of former South Carolina House Representative Krystle Matthews, and the several illegal actions taken by the Charleston County School Board.
Floriana started her news career working for 60 Minutes at CBS News. She then worked for Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream and for WBTV News in Charlotte, N.C. She also spent a summer in Washington, D.C., interning for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Floriana graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Orthodox Christian Studies, but before going to New York City, Floriana grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Floriana loves to spend her free time reading, running and with family and friends, especially her two brothers.
