10-year-old hit by car in Winston-Salem intersection

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A child was hit by a car in Winston-Salem, according to police.

At about 9:02 a.m. Thursday, a 2017 Subaru Outback reportedly struck a 10-year-old, whose name has not been released, at the intersection of New Walkertown Road and Ferrell Court.

Police say the child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The child has since been released.
