HIGH POINT, N.C. — A group in the High Point community is hosting a series of public forums to consider how violence could be impacting local youth.

The goal is to talk about how violence affects children both directly and indirectly and come up with ways to help them cope and continue to feel safe.

FOX8's Katie Nordeen moderated the event at the Morehead Recreational Center in High Point.
