Unclaimed pig found wandering down road in Thomasville

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Three days.

That's how long the owner of this pig has until it goes up for adoption.

The Davidson County Animal Shelter says the pig came in at about 10 a.m Thursday morning.

It was found walking along the road on Rodelia Street in Thomasville.

The pig was rounded up because of a Thomasville city ordinance that says there can be no pigs in city limits.

The shelter says this is the second pig that's been turned in this week.
