Man shot in High Point on Earle Place

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A man was shot in High Point Thursday morning, police said.

At about 11 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 300 block of Earle Place after a call from a woman saying her son had been shot.

The woman indicated that she know who shot her son and the shooter was still in the home.

Police found a male victim in the living room with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect was arrested at the home.

Their names have not been released.

Police report no one else was involved in the incident and officers are not looking for any other suspects.
