Storms down trees, damage at least 2 buildings in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- As storms rolled through Friday afternoon, trees came down and at least two buildings were damaged.

A large tree fell at Crossing at Chester Ridge Apartment Homes in High Point.

Limbs were also reported down along Parris Avenue in High Point.

The roof of an office building was damaged near the intersection of York Avenue and Eastchester Drive.

A tree fell on Luna's Tire Shop, at 1907 N. Main St. in High Point.

A tree fell on a car in a driveway on Countryside Drive in High Point.
