Child hit, killed by vehicle Halloween morning in North Carolina

SHELBY, N.C. — A child was hit and killed by a vehicle, early Wednesday morning, according to WSOC.

The child was hit just before 6 a.m. on the 1800 block of South Post Road.

Troopers told WSOC that the victim was a boy who appeared to have wandered away from his home before the sun rose. He was wearing a dark shirt when he was hit.

No other details have been released.
