North Carolina Zoo wins major awards helping endangered animals

ASHEBORO, N.C. -- The North Carolina Zoo recently won several major awards from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for their work to help critically endangered animals in Africa.

Countless wild gorillas, rhinos, and elephants have been saved thanks to the Zoo's efforts to stop illegal poaching.
