Power restored after outages in Guilford County
GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 4,000 people were without power in Guilford County as of 11:30 a.m. Monday morning, according to Duke Energy.
By 3 p.m., power was restored to most Duke Energy customers.
Outages were first reported at about 6:30 a.m.
Among those affected by the outage are Guilford Technical Community College’s Greensboro campus and North Carolina A&T University which both delayed opening Monday morning awaiting power.
GTCC’s Greensboro campus closed until 5 p.m.
NC A&T closed until 12 p.m.
