Four NC Dollar General employees accused of stealing more than $27K in items from store

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. — Four employees at a Dollar General in North Carolina are accused of stealing more than $27,000 in items, according to WWAY.

Donna Espinosa, Denise Davis, Kimberly Rhodes and Cheryl Hickman were arrested on Tuesday and charged with larceny by an employee.

The items, which were taken from the store in Supply, included food, clothing, household items, and toys. The alleged thefts happened over the course of several months to a year, WECT reports.

The items were valued at $27,460.

Hickman and Rhodes are behind bars on a $10,000 bond while Espinosa is under a $5,000 bail. Davis has since bonded out of jail.
