Dozens become US citizens in Winston-Salem on Fourth of July

Nearly 50 people from 25 different countries were sworn in as United States citizens at the Old Salem visitor center.

The house was packed with family and friends supporting the nearly 50 people as they crossed over the final step of the long process to become a citizen.

Folks FOX8 spoke with said they were excited to celebrate on this Fourth of July.
