Vehicle catches fire in hotel parking lot in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. – A vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of a hotel in High Point on Saturday afternoon.

Crews responded to the scene of Hotel NC at 2000 Brentwood St. at about 1:40 p.m. in reference to the incident and quickly had the situation under control.

Nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire has not been released.

The fire started in the cab of the vehicle, according to police.

The owner of the vehicle said he was outside at about noon and did not notice anything suspicious.
