1 dead after vehicle crashes into building in Stokes County

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. – Stokes County communications has confirmed that a vehicle crashed into a building and one person has died.

The incident was reported at about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday on Pilot-Westfield Road at Brown Mountain Road.

The name of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released. Highway patrol is investigating.
