2 people shot, injured in Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Two people were shot in Burlington Wednesday night, according to Burlington police Assistant Chief Chris Verdeck.

The shooting happened at about 7:15 p.m. on Dailey Street, Verdeck said.

A vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects has been located.

The victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
