The latest models show possible snowfall totals in the Piedmont Triad trending up.

Models show uncertainty, with a range between four and eight inches. One model shows no accumulation.

FOX8 meteorologist Emily Byrd expects the snow to begin late Friday night and continue through noon on Saturday.

As of 8:55 a.m. Thursday, there are no winter weather advisories in the area.
