3 people injured in 3 separate shootings in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police in Greensboro are investigating three different shootings reported early Sunday morning, all of which resulted in victims being taken to the hospital.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police were called to Moses Cone in reference to a walk-in assault victim. Police said it is not clear how the victim’s injury occurred.

Then, shortly after 1:30 a.m., police were called to the 900 block of Hern Avenue where a victim was found with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Shortly before 4 a.m., police were called to Moses Cone again after a victim said he was shot while in his vehicle near Phillips Avenue and Ball Street.

Police said Sunday morning that the three shootings do not appear to be related. All of the injuries were non-life-threatening and no suspect information was released in any of the cases.
