KING, N.C. -- A mother's recording of her surprising her 9-year-old son with tickets to his first Carolina Panthers games is getting a lot of attention after the boy's shock turned to tears of joy.

"He has been begging to go to a game," said Hayden Young's mother Michelle. She picked her son up Thursday from school and started recording when she told him the family had four tickets on the 50-yard line to that night's Panthers game against the New Orleans Saints.

"Here I am in the line just anxious and I thought, 'OK this is going to be a moment,' so I decided to get my camera out -- I normally don't do that stuff."

The video shows the King Elementary School student's shock then breaking down in tears of excitement.

Michelle shared the video on her Facebook page and it's received a lot of attention from Panthers fans.

"I never imagined the reaction that I got out of him, the child was bawling," Michelle said.

"I was expecting just complete joy and awe, and then he busted out in these sincere tears," she said. "Definitely tears of joy."
