Extreme-dunking! Man bungee jumps 240 feet to cup of tea, breaks world record

BERKSHIRE, U.K. —  A 24-year-old thrill seeker received a Guinness World Record Thursday when he dunked a cookie into a cup of tea while bungee jumping.

Simon Berry achieved the “highest bungee dunk” when he bungee jumped more than 70 meters down to a mug of tea, according to Guinness World Records.

As the bungee cord reached full extension, Berry reached with a cookie and dunked it into the tea before the cord pulled him away.

Berry’s record stands at 73.41 meters or 240’10”, which smashed the previous record of 60.553 meters or 198’8.”
