3 shot in Greensboro; 1 with life-threatening injuries

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three people were shot in two separate incidents in Greensboro Monday evening, according to news releases from Greensboro police.

At 6:03 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Gant Street in reference to an assault.

Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment — one with a life-threatening injury and one with a non-life-threatening injury.

At 8:33 p.m., officers responded to 2 Hitlin Place in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS.

No suspect information was released.
