HIGH POINT, N.C. – Local police officers shared coffee with the community at a High Point McDonald’s restaurant on Saturday morning.

The McDonald’s at 2738 S. Main St. hosted a “Coffee with a Cop” event that brought officers and residents together.

“We are always looking for ways to support our local community and we feel like opening the lines of communication between our customers and the High Point Police Department is a great way to show that we care,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Tony Delligatti, according to a press release.

The participants were treated to a small cup of McDonald’s coffee.

Similar events are planned for other Triad-area McDonald’s locations in the future.
