FORT WORTH, Texas — Workers at a McDonald’s in Texas received an amazing gift when a man stepped up to the cash register and gave $100 to each employee.

The man, who is said to be a regular at the restaurant, stopped in and wanted to do something nice to cheer up a woman he knew there.

“There was a young lady at McDonald’s, who’s a regular there and goes and has coffee, and she happened to be crying and it just broke his heart,” said Lisa Davila, according to KTVT. “So he went over and he asked her what was going on and she was going through some tough times,”

Davila, who didn’t want to share the man’s identity, said he was her boss and that he was also going through a rough time after he was diagnosed with cancer.

The man left enough money for the 33 employees on staff — whether they were working or not.

“You could tell it blessed their day,” Davila said. “They didn’t come in there thinking that was going to happen that day.. and that was the best part about it.”
