Greensboro woman dies after she collides with several vehicles stopped at a traffic signal

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman died after her car collided with several vehicles stopped for a traffic signal, according to a news release.

Lois Mark McManus, 90, was driving her 2002 Toyota Camry Tuesday when she failed to reduce speed and hit several vehicles stopped for a traffic signal at the intersection of North Elm Street and Tankersley Drive.

She was taken to  Moses Cone Hospital for treatment and died Thursday as a result of her injuries.

The collision is being investigated by the Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit.

There are currently no charges pending in the investigation.
