Police respond to vehicle accident, locate shooting victim in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police responded to a vehicle accident and located a shooting victim Monday, according to a news release from Greensboro police.

At 7:20 p.m., officers responded to South Eugene Street at West Gate City Boulevard in reference to a vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the driver had been shot on Randolph Avenue at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS with a non-life-threatening injury.

One suspect is being sought in connection with the shooting, the release said.

The victim’s name has not been released.
