WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — There is a really easy way to get a free doughnut on Election Day — just vote.

Krispy Kreme will be giving one free doughnut to every person who shows up at a participating location wearing an “I Voted” sticker on Nov. 8. Voters can choose from any flavor.

“We want to sweeten Election Day by saying ‘thank you’ to those who participate at the polls,” said Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Jackie Woodward. “It has been a long election season, and we think a free treat is the perfect way to reward voters.”

Not all Krispy Kreme locations will be participating in the campaign. For more information on which stores are not involved in North Carolina, click here.
