Man’s van stolen in Greensboro, victim beaten with hammer

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police in Greensboro are looking for two teenagers accused of stealing a man’s van.

Greensboro police said officers were called to the 2400 block of South Holden Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday in reference to the incident.

The victim told police that the suspects approached him and stole his blue 2012 Honda Odyssey van. The van had a North Carolina license plate reading ALJ-2687.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other had a hammer, which was used to assault the victim, police said in a press release.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call Greensboro police at (336) 373-1000 or text the tip to 274637 using the keyword badboyz. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
