NEW YORK – How would you like to live in a three-floor loft in Manhattan's West Village for just one dollar a month? Yes, you heard that right.

PIX11 reported that Rupert Hunt is the founder of the find-a-roommate site Anyone can apply by going there.

And he's searching for two roommates to share his west village loft for six months.

Hunt says he's looking for people that he can get along with, as well as help each other in some way.

"I am kind of excited by the thought that one or both roommates would be able to pursue their dreams with this opportunity of not having rent to pay for six months,” Hunt said.

Hunt says he'd also prefer at least one roommate to know New York City well, and the other to be new to the area.

Applications will be accepted through Sunday.
