More than $3 million worth of cocaine seized in Alamance County home
ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Federal and state law enforcement officials seized 83 kilograms of cocaine and $837,460 in cash from an Alamance County man on Thursday, according to a press release.
Agents from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigators conducted a search of the home and located the drug. The seized cocaine had an estimated street value of $3,200,000.
The unidentified male was arrested at the scene and taken to the Alamance County Jail, where he is being held under a $1,000,000 bond.
