1 dead after shooting at Greensboro home

GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person was shot and killed at a home in Greensboro Sunday night, according to Greensboro police.

Officers responded to 815 Rugby St. at about 7:30 p.m. in reference to the incident and found 43-year-old Raheem Samad Heading suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated and died shortly after arriving.

Additional information about the victim has not been released.

An autopsy will be conducted and the investigation is ongoing.
