Silver Alert for missing High Point woman canceled

The High Point Police Department canceled the Amber Alert for 61-year-old Sandra Cartwright Singleton, according to a news release.

No additional details were released.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing High Point woman, according to a press release.

Sandra Cartwright Singleton, 61, was reported missing from 900-B E. Kearns Ave.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a gray sweater. She suffers from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Singleton is a black female standing five feet three inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say she is possibly traveling east on Interstate 40 and 1212 Mears St. in Wilmington is her possible destination.

Her vehicle is a blue 2004 Chevrolet Aveo with license plate number 9406653.

Anyone with information about Singleton’s whereabouts is asked to call the High Point Police Department at (336) 887-7941.
