CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is headed to Charlotte Sunday after days of protests, according to WSOC.
“I think any big figure that comes into our community right now would be a great thing,” Charlotte resident Marjorie Fischer told Channel 9.
The signs of protest are still fresh in Charlotte and the death of Keith Scott on the minds of many.
Channel 9 asked Charlotte residents about their thoughts on the candidate addressing the recent turmoil in the city.
“I’d be surprised if she didn’t talk about it,” Brian Wolfman said, “but I think she’d be foolish to spend too much time on it.”
