Woman involved in 3-vehicle crash in Kernersville dies

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – A woman involved in a 3-vehicle crash in Kernersville on Friday has died while being medically treated, according to police.

Patricia Nussear Feist, 81, of Kernersville, died while receiving medical treatment at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, according to Kernersville police.

The wreck happened at about 1:23 p.m. Friday at the intersection of N.C. Highway 66 South and the off-ramp from US 421 North.

The victim was a passenger in a 2014 Toyota Camry which was involved in a crash with a 2012 International Flatbed truck and a 2003 Ford F-350 truck.

The Camry and the truck were trying to exit US 421 and collided with a third vehicle traveling south on N.C. Highway 66, according to police.

Two other people involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
