‘Run the Runway’ raises $100K for hunger charities in Piedmont Triad

The co-chairs of the Piedmont Triad International Airports' annual "Run on the Runway" event presented a $100,000 check to hunger charities in the Piedmont on Thursday.

More than a thousand people came out for the run in June and the Airport Authority Committee exceeded its fundraising goal of $40,000.
