MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. — A North Carolina woman is locked up after police say she pulled one officer’s hair and tried to bite another on Sunday.

The Gaston Gazette reports Terica Inez Finch, 36, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, child abuse, driving with a revoked license, possession of an open container and two counts of assaulting a government official.

Arrest reports say that once Finch was arrested, she refused to put her hands behind her back, tried to bite one officer and grabbed the hair of another.

When initially pulled over, she was intoxicated and had a child in the car.
