School bus involved crash reported in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A school bus carrying 22 students was involved in a crash with another vehicle Friday morning.

Winston-Salem police responded to Cole Road at Troy Drive on reports of a wreck and discovered it involved a Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school bus.

Early investigation revealed the bus came to a stop while traveling south on Cole Road when a 2005 Nissan Altima failed to stop and collided with the rear of the bus.

The bus contained 22 students and no injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are currently pending.
