PEACH BOTTOM, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania mom was arrested and charged in connection with the death of her 2-month-old child after officials say the baby suffocated when sleeping in the same bed on July 12.

In addition, this was the second time that 28-year-old Jessica Harper has lost a child due to co-sleeping, according to WGN.

The first incident occurred in January 2011 and doctors have since warned Harper of the dangers of co-sleeping with a newborn or infant - four times to be exact.

Police said doctors warned Harper not to sleep with her infant, but she told them she was "going to do it anyway." Several days later, the baby died suffocated.

Harper has other children and they are currently under the care of social services.
