YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Police are looking for whoever shot a teenage boy Monday night in a parking lot at Carowinds theme park.

Deputies said a 14-year-old was shot twice in the abdomen by a man who drove up and fired several shots at him in the parking lot of the amusement park.

The call for shots fired went out just after 7 p.m. on the South Carolina side of the park that straddles the state line.

Deputies said the victim, a 14-year-old boy, was shot twice in the abdomen.

Paramedics said the teen suffered serious injuries, but there has been no update on his condition.
