Greensboro police investigate shots fired

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Greensboro Police Department is investigating gunshots that were fired in the area of Holt Avenue and Bessemer Avenue Monday night.

At about 10:31 p.m., an officer heard at least 15 shots from two different guns within a block of Sykes Avenue and East Market Street.

As a result of the initial investigation, there were no reported injuries and no property damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
